New Home in New Hampshire

We finally made it up to our new home in New Hampshire this weekend. We must have picked the hottest day of the year to move into our New England cape-style rental house with no central air (very typical of the northeast!). A normal person would have been sweating standing still on the 95 degree day, but we had to unpack a 27 foot moving truck and keep track of a sweaty baby too!  Alas, we got it done, with the help of our neighbors/brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Ray. Thank goodness for their air conditioning, all their help moving, and feeding us the first weekend we were in town.  And Noah gets the “mover of the year” award for being an awesome baby and chilling in his car seat during the craziness.

Our last night in the old townhouse. Everything we need!

Our first day in New Hampshire… Noah’s cousins Jude and Levi welcoming him to the neighborhood.

Danny and Rita arrived on Friday night for a full day of cleaning and unpacking on Saturday. Again, the family help was critical to a successful and less stressful move! More pics of our new house to come, once we get a little further with the unpacking!

Joel and Ray had us and Danny and Rita over for a delicious cookout Saturday night. While we were relaxing outside, we finally found something that fits in the ridiculously tiny cup holders in our stroller. Cheers Noah!

Before heading to New Hampshire, we made a quick stop in New York. It was great to catch up with our family there, and we look forward to more trips now that we’re a bit closer.
