The 3rd house Noah will have lived in before his 1st birthday … and we plan to be there awhile!
We are officially under contract and nearing the end of our due diligence period on a house in the Dilworth neighborhood of Charlotte. We are jumping through a few last minute hoops on the survey/fence line, but everything is on-schedule for a mid-March close.
In our opinion, Dilworth is one of the best, if not THE BEST area to live in the Charlotte area. It is close to uptown, very walkable, has beautiful parks, excellent schools, and is super safe. We honestly did not think we would find a house at our “price point” in this neighborhood, but our agent knew about this listing before it even went on the market.
The house has a great layout and flow. It has been a rental property for the last two years, so needs some cosmetic updating like new paint and carpets; we are hoping to get some of that taken care of before we move in. It will be a busy few months, getting settled but we plan to be moved in by the end of March.
The great room: This is what you see when you walk in the front door and it is the view that sold me on the house. As soon as I saw those beams, I knew it was “the one.”
